Bulgarian Patriarchate is an ancient local Orthodox autocephalous Eastern Orthodox Church. Recognized it in 927 a Patriarchate makes it the first autocephalous church in ancient Rome, Constantinople, Alexandria, Antioch and Jerusalem, in the oldest church folk in Europe and the Slavic peoples.
